After careful thought and much deliberation, and the rewatching of several films, I have come up with the definitive order for the MCU films, ranking them from best to worst. You are permitted to argue with this list, but you'll be wrong. ;)

7 Guardians of the Galaxy
8 Captain America: Civil War
9 Iron Man 2
10 Captain Marvel
11 Ant-Man
12 Iron Man
13 Thor
14 Doctor Strange
15 Ant-Man and the Wasp
16 Captain America: The First Avenger
17 Avengers: Age of Ultron
18 Black Panther
19 Avengers: Endgame
20 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
21 The Incredible Hulk
22 Thor: The Dark World
23 Iron Man 3

Where will the Black Widow film slide into the list?

Put Ant-Man at 9, Iron Man at 11 and Iron Man 2 at 12. I agree with rest. I think Black Widow will come in just under Captain Marvel

I can accept that. I'm partial to Iron Man 2 because I love Mickey Rourke's Whiplash. He was so great in that role. And, Sam Rockwell was hilarious. And and, I feel like Favreau got to shine a bit more in this one. But the original is quite good, too, and I can't fault anyone who wants to swap 'em.

It looks awesome from the trailers, like a Winter Soldier vibe. So if it ends up in that vein, probably my top ten or eleven.
