I know there was a shot of him in the earth 20 years ahead of ours. But for a guy to be able to understand electronics that hadn't been invented yet, and use them to manipulate a building built by an earth hundreds/thousands of years ahead of ours is a very high level of skill. I wonder what he did on the other earths.
shareHe was also able to engineer a pistol that could adjust its own barrel caliber to the ammunition you put in it and he did that on the apocalypse world. I suspect it might turn out down the road that one of his doppelgängers played a role in creating the building.
shareSomething was up with him that he was able to figure out how to construct a control device for the building after only riding it once by accident. This presumes he has more than a working knowledge of dimension-jumping theory and understands the building's technical specs well enough to override its automatic systems. I wouldn't be surprised if his doppelgangers have some type of insight about the building's operation that is getting transferred to him or perhaps he knows or knew more about it than his current self remembers. He pieced together a nuke (albeit from other nukes) using only post-apocalyptic tools and knowledge, from our perspective, something which takes groups of scientists/engineers and a large technical/industrial base in our world. Sad that one version of him is shot.
