I would be excited if this happened to me

I mean it would be proof that parallel universes exist. It could be proof of the theory that dark matter is gravity from another universe next to ours. Maybe.

The question is is that we're these parallel universes created by branching off a single universe or were each universe created induvidually? That would be the next qiestion.

After that are the universes that are completely different? Like maybe the laws of physics are different or do all universes share the same laws of physics? Are there universes where they are nothing but gas or universes that are nothing but black holes?

As a theoretical physics enthusiasts this movie really falls into my ballpark of thinking.

Sorry if I talk weird. I tend to think in the abstract and normal words get muddied up in the translation. I find communication via words to be extremely limited. A mind to mind form of communication would be much more efficient.

Dark matter can be part of our universe that simply doesn't interact much with normal matter. It could even have complex stuff and maybe even dark life but we already know that it's very different than normal matter. Now the two-slit experiment could well be evidence that a multiverse exists.

For this movie/series, using the idea of parallel worlds makes it incredibly easy to add in just about anything they like. The real trick will be to have all the broad strokes entirely worked out in a satisfying way before they start shooting again. If it does get green-lit I hope they take their time with the writing.

I know, right. I'd happily step out of my own world and never look back. I could spend my whole life hunting for my own personal paradise universe...
