From the same people that brought you The Lost Room

The Lost Room was an EXCELLENT miniseries and also dealt with alternative universe kinds of topics. The writers and the director (who was also a writer) were both behind the Lost Room. It'd be a real shame if this didn't get picked up for a season, the people behind it really seem to have a knack for a kind of Twilight Zoney kind of science fiction.

Let's hope this is even available not because Fox is just trying to recover sunk costs from producing a pilot they couldn't sell but because it's seen as having promise and they want to do a kind of backhanded, social-media type of buzz campaign to attract someone to buying a series.

It's also surprising that there aren't more shows based around a parallel universe concept. It provides a lot of options for storytelling.

Ha, I thought this was all so familiar, the portal, the artifacts, it really has a connection with the Lost Room. Great series and hopefully this gets picked up. :)

The Lost Room was amazing, it also seemed better written, directed and acted.

Ah The Lost Room...I'll never get over that show. I've been looking for that sense of mystery since but have never come across something as fresh and interesting. I don't care about plot holes, unexplained questions yada yada...All I need from sci-fi is to once again be curious about the world like we used to be as children. The Lost Room was a foreign concept and it made me think and wonder...I miss that feeling so much !

Parallels was satisfying in the sense that it has a familiar theme. It really needs a chance...I hope they get to make it in the way they envision.
