Harry + Beatrix

I felt like the connection between them was being forced on me. He liked her way more than she liked him, because she clearly had zero feelings for him. Their status in the futuristic world really annoyed me. I get that it's like "anything is possible on other earths" but it was more like they were just trying to reinforce the idea that maybe there's something between them that there isn't. Harry just seemed to be trying way too hard. Didn't that actor play another role where he was a best friend/sidekick secretly in love with a girl who didn't notice him?

Also, in a world where everything from paying for goods to opening doors is controlled by touching a screen, the fact that the laptop required a password was incredibly out of place, and clearly just there to shove it in your face that Harry likes Beatrix. I understood that as soon as Harry was introduced, at the same time that I realized she doesn't like him. The password element of the scene was completely unnecessary. It did not make me feel for his character.

Good point about the pass word. But that the "future" Harry succeeded in all the ways our Harry did not by bending rules and lying makes an interesting story. And it made me like and trust our Harry more.

Would a Beatrice fall for something like that? Well it depends on how well "future" Harry played it. Apparently well enough. I have no problem with that.

Christ all mighty in multiverse with infinite number of harry's and infinite number of batrix one of them would have worked, maybe harry had a 9 inch cock on this earth.
