Personally I had more problems with Ronan and Beatrix. Why did they need to make the male lead a stupid fistfighter and his sister an Ivy League student? We really need to break those stereotypes, we already have one ruined generation of boys. I'm not asking for a guy with Quinn Mallory level intellect... actually scrap that, I AM asking that.

The characters were dumb. Writers made a big deal of them being intelligent but they act like morons throughout the movie. No one questions how the Asian chic knows what she knows. At the end they assume their father is "their" father. They continually confuse the alternate earths with their own. It was an interesting Sliders-esque concept but poorly written.
