I felt cheated by the ending...and Constance Wu is already on a series

I suspected this was meant to be a pilot for a series and that's confirmed. Still they could have had some respect for the viewers and edited into a movie with an ending. As it is it's basically a ripoff of 'Sliders' to me and just leaves you hanging with WAY too many loose ends. Shows a lack of concern for their audience.

And I'm curious what Constance Wu would have done if they had made this into a weekly series ? This was made in 2015 She's already featured on 'Fresh off the Boat' as the mom. I guess she wasn't taking any chances on failures and was covering her bets. Good actress in drama and comedy. I wish her well and hope to see her in more real films.

Constance Wu doesn't make or break this show. They can always hire some other asian-looking actress for the job.

According to Chris Leone this show is about to be either approved or shot down by the execs. Fingers crossed.

I think all of the actors could be replaced. The concept and story of the show completely outweighs the actors/acting. I think if this show went to SCI FI or one of the networks they would have to reboot the whole thing retelling the story for the 90% of people who never saw this movie in first place but love the idea of it.
