Why not? What's wrong with having a password related to someone you're secretly in love with?

The question made by the original poster is not "why 928", it "why would Beatrix ask 'why 928"? It's her birthday, she should recognize the numbers. Even if in that world it was different, it was her version of Harold that said the password.

I sorta agree. My next thought was that maybe she was only asking to clarify with Harold that the password was indeed very creepy. Basically she was asking if there was some other significance of the number 928 that would make him less of a stalker.

agreed. that was a cringe worthy line. also that loser ultimate fighting dude was way to open with that asian girl. he was telling her about his sob story like she was his psychiatrist. I just found that a bit odd.
