Who wins

For those who saw the free screening, who wins the film. I've read a few reviews and they haven't come out and said who wins exactly but form what they are saying it's sounds like Mike The Mouse wins.

..hey chumptacular..i responded to your question on my spoiler post too.

..*Spoilers*

- no one wins the competition, because the thug gambling Bears go into the theater holding Mike hostage until they get their money that Mikey cheated them out of, when he played a card game with them eariler. one of the Bears cracks open the 'prize chest' and also makes a crack in the stage glass, thus flooding out the whole theater and destroying it.

(Buster asks the rich Nana Noodleman to come a show in hopes she can save the theater with her money, so he turns the whole stage into one giant glass display case filled with water so small squids can help with the light show as they sing)

..so, the final half hour is about Mikey and the singers rebuilding the theater and just letting the singers still go on with thier songs as planned. and hopefully other animals will see their shows and help donate to build a new theater

..Mike was such a hustler jerk, no way they were going to let him win anyways lol.. we the viewing audience would be so upset lol..

Out of the main characters: Nick Kroll, the gorilla, Mike, Reese Witherspoon, Moon, The Elephant, And ash, who gets the most screen time/ character development?

reply

Moon probably has the most screentime and development as the theatre and competition all revolve around him story-wise. However, I'd say it's pretty evenly spread out amongst all of them. The performers especially get about equal development and story, and really not too much less than Moon either.

No one wins. When Buster's theater falls apart from a flood, every contestant starts to feel sorry for Buster and still want to go along with the show. When they do, every animal in the city shows up and starts cheering for every performer. After the show, Eddie's grandma or aunt donates money to Buster's theater to help re-construct it.

Even though there wasn't a winner, it felt like every contestant still won in their own way because they were signing for themselves. Does that make sense?
