The Most Unimaginative Animated Movie in Years

The Despicable Me movies were decent, but everything else they've put out has been garbage. The Lorax was awful and Minions was almost as bad. This looks like one of the most unimaginative animated movie in a long time. A singing competition with animals and almost no original songs? YAWN

Looks like a micky take out of The X Factor and how stupid the auditions are on there.

Yea it's like someone over at Illumination thought "HEY! YOU KNOW HOW EVERY CARTOON MOVIE HAS A MUSICAL NUMBER AT THE END? *beep* IT LET'S JUMP RIGHT IN AND GO WITH IT!!!!"

Whatever you are, be a good one.

And yet, this appears to be the best-rated movie opening this week!

Which speaks to how terrible the other movies are. XD

Fences?

Didn't see that was getting a wide release.

It's only sitting at 75%, though, with a selective group of reviews and audience who should be more favorable to it... if it's simply being propped up for that reason, it could easily tie with "Sing" once general audience and critics view it.

Eh... "Norm of the North" gets the 'most unimaginative' trophy.

Right below that is the "Wild Life" movie.

Then the latest "Ice Age" movie.

And then there were a couple other highly forgettable titles which... I've forgotten...

And THEN this.

That said, it's just another blase film with a bunch of trashy pop songs. It has achieved mediocrity.

This "looks like".. so you haven't seen it. The reviews are out now buddy. It's at 76 on rottentomatoes.

Yeah, I didn't think this was very funny either. Most of the time this kid kept kicking my chair asking when it was time to go to McDonalds. The storytelling is pretty uninspired too.

Trying to create a channel based on interpreting, reviewing, and even giving you something to laugh about film. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance.
