I was watching the movie today and noticed these 3 songs played (I think all in a row).
1. "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" by Wham (George Michael)
2. "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen
3. "Under Pressure" by Queen & David Bowie
All 3 songs were by artists that passed away in 2016. Must be a coincidence, since I'm sure it was completed before Cohen and Michael passed. A weird coincidence, nonetheless.
Not a curse whatsoever. It's just unfortunate that these artists passed away this past year.
shareYes, I noticed it and mentioned it after I saw the movie. I do not think it's a curse. It's just a weird coincidence. It made me a bit sad as I enjoy songs from all of those artist and own their albums.
shareI thought of this through the movie too. I put it down to the fact that all 3 artists were important in the music industry. It is why there has been so much focus on their deaths, they were brilliant musicians.
