I believe this conceited ass was included to show that just because someone is talented doesn't mean they're not a complete *beep* scumbag lowlife.
What's your point? He was obviously supposed to be that way. This is actually the best thing about the movie. The mouse was mean but he wasn't villianized. He didn't get his 'comeuppance' (hopefully) in some big humiliating way. That is always the mark of a baby movie, that some character needs to suffer some embarrassing overt defeat. He wasn't in the picture because he wasn't really buddies with the other singers. I think the movie implied that he ran off continuing his shenanigans as a scammer/low life. No big stupid scene where he goes up to sing but loses his voice and gets booed of the stage or dragged off by the bears. I think it's a
wonderful message that just because someone can sing doesn't mean they are a great person. People need to learn this and stop putting singers on a pedestal.
