Sing: The Animated Series?

I have a question for you all: How many of you are/were fans of the Fox series, "Glee?" I have a very good idea to have this come back in animated form.

I'm bringing this up because I've read once that "Sing" was described as "Zootopia meets Glee," and this gave me an idea to have a "sequel" to this movie as an animated series geared toward audiences ages 12-17.

So, let's see Johnny, Meena and Ash, the teenaged characters of Sing, either going to a school for the performing arts, throwing in a bit of "Fame" here, or they can join a glee club in their high school, assuming they attend the same school, just like in Glee. In the mix would be about 5-7 other members, depending on how large the average glee club is, all humanoid animals. We would see a beautiful-furred tabby cat, a "jock" bulldog who keeps his passion for singing hidden from his family, a Bengal tiger, maybe a jackal, a fox, and a five-foot tall rabbit (the last two animals could make for some good "war duets"). In the case of Johnny, maybe he can go live with an aunt or uncle to start afresh from his old gang life, and his cousin could be part of the group. And perhaps Rosita could have a teenage niece or nephew that could be in the group as well.

Among many of the issues teens normally face, the group could also face social issues such as relationships, disabilities, acceptance, dyslexia, eating disorders, even more hardcore issues such as school and domestic violence, teenage drinking and homophobia. The latter issues, I'm sure the writers can think creatively to deliver them in a family friendly manner. Storylines would include Ash struggling to overcome her old relationship with Lance and gaining confidence to find love again, and I think Johnny could use a love interest of his own in the group. Each episodes would have about 6-7 songs that would be fitting for each episode, both Billboard hits and show tunes, as well as few episodes dedicated to one artist or musical - Michael Jackson, the Backstreet Boys, Madonna, even West Side Story.

I know this is a lot of reading, but I think this is a pretty workable idea here. If we could get this to Universal, I think maybe they could go for it. Would this be something you'd be interested in?

It sounds more like a sequel
