Silly question but just curious, in this movie's universe to you feel humans exist anywhere?

Not necessarily. In this movie's universe, the songs would most likely have been written by animal equivalents of human composers/writers.

For example, in that alternate universe, "Don't You Worry 'bout a Thing" could have been written by that great animal composer, Stevie Wombat. 
