hated the mouse lol! I didn't even think his singing was that good.... then I find out that he's voiced by Seth Mcfarlane and hate him even more!

Yes he was. But note that he never became an outright villain. It was a bold choice of the makers to have a character be very unlikable but not be the villain. They acknowledge that people can be very talented but still have rotten personalities and make bad life choices.
Also, I wonder if the real Frank Sinatra was like this. Sinatra did have a reputation for being a jerk, and he was always mixed up with the mob.
