Chantal's apartment, airport attire

I missed part of the episode, but was Chantal's apartment a studio apartment? From what I saw it looked like the bed was right next to the front door? I cringed when I saw the rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed, as well as the frame photo of them on the pillow and a framed document which looked like it could have been his visa/immigration paper.

And what the heck was she wearing to the airport? A corset, tight mini-skirt and flats? How did she tie the corset in the back if she dressed alone?

it certainly was a studio! The bed was on the wall by the door as you said, and the kitchen was right there aside from it. I don't recall the framed items though.
Regarding the corset, and I could be completely wrong on this, but many of them do lace up the back, but have hooks all the way up the front. So she would have had somebody fit her in it and tie it how tight she needed it, but then to remove it and put it back on she would only need to hook the front since the back stays laced. I think I remember that she appeared to be wrapping it around her (as it was already laced) to hook the front.

