Did Russ think he could stick a woman like Paola in Oklahoma and expect her to be satisfied with her life. Is he delusional? He's a nice enough guy but what does he use for brains. I laughed out loud when she was packing her string bikinis and he was standing there telling her he didn't approve with what she was packing. What did he expect her to take to Miami? A nun's habit? It's obvious Paola did her homework before she came to the U.S. Poor Russ said he felt like he was losing control. Did he really think he could control Paola?

She is using her body to get ahead. Poor Russ. This show only helps those who go to the US!

Part of me still thinks Paola is just Russ's beard, and that is why he is somewhat okay with her partying, modeling and moving to Miami. She is a very attractive woman, and while he is not bad looking, I get the feeling he is gay.

The bikini thing is basic psychology. It's humiliating enough for him that he can't support his wife and she has to travel for work. Modeling is bad enough, but "skimpy modeling" is just one step up from stripping. It's not as if she is working for Ralph Lauren. A woman shoudk appreciate the fact the man is upset she is having to do seedy work (otherwise it's almost like he is her pimp)

However, what seprated Russ from others is that he doesn't seem to have the drive to do whatever it takes to stop her from having to do this. That's ehy inthinknthe beard analogy may be right.

They won't work out. I think Paolo is a sweet girl and was genuine in her effort to come here because she was in love with him. I just don't think she realized how much of a stick in the mud he would be. After the nerf gun present, I would have made my mind up then to leave him.
