I don't see this show hitting it as big as Louie, but I'm hoping it'll see the light of day past one season. Louis CK is becoming a master of subtle absurdity. This whole show is presented so elegantly, great lighting, cinematography, acting, yet it's based around such an absurd plot. This show is completely unique and I predict it will garner a cult following over time.
shareI thought it was very funny, albeit in a dry, mannered way. Zach G. could recite a cooking book and I'd probably laugh. He has perfected the art of the throwaway line and understated performance. Thought the writing was spot-on and very clever.
It's probably not mainstream enough to gain a huge legion of fans, but I hope it has a long run.

Only one episode so far but it definitely has cult hit potential. Reminds me of Todd Margret, Wilfred, Last Man, etc. You can see a lot of Zach's seminal jokes in the pilot so I hope it can go the distance because it's been hilarious so far.
