I wanted to hook onto someone else's thread about this, but I guess I am first...

Yay...Louie Anderson got nominated for best supporting Actor!! He really deserves this...as he was a breakout of this show.

Fingers crossed for the win Louie!!! 

Ya now, there were only a few performances I was "zero-ed" in on I was hoping to get Emmy recognition as these folks made the show. Louie Anderson bowled me over in Baskets. I like the show, but Louie was phenomenal.

He's up against Tituss Burgess...who is also a favorite. I'm with you tho', I would love to see Louie win..that man has worked in this industry for years (and do you know my favorite performance of his is the voice-over he did for 'Family Guy' as Elroy Jetson??!? I love that one) had a lot of problems, but this...this would be the best. My fingers are crossed.

To me he's always been a joke, not really in a good way but I liked his stand up way back when. So to see him play Mama Baskets and to actually have the reaction I did blew me away.

And it takes a lot for me to root against Tony Hale. I don't watch Veep but that's Buster Bluth!!!

This category is tight. But its one of the times I can write and agree with the phrase: "It's good to be nominated"...

He deserves it! Although Hale for Veep was also great, A close second.

It's the only reason I watch this show. Well, Martha, too. She's great.
