F451 meets Wings of Fame, meets Equilibrium, meets Wes Anderson

Emphatically did not hate this movie.

Very similar to Wings of Fame, Fahrenheit 451, and Equilibrium.

A definite Wes Anderson thing going on there.

A few (very dry) chuckles.

Any female who agrees indicates we are compatible to tribb. 

I remember the Wings of Fame, it was a bit like it yes - I think that film is on YouTube if anyone feels like tracking it down

I've always considered Equilibrium (2002) to be a remake of F451 but with The Matrix-style action scenes thrown in to attract a modern young audience. But yes, The Lobster reminded me of F451 too.

I suspect that Wes Anderson draws his inspirations from European art-house movies (and turns them into his own style).

I've never heard of Wings Of Fame before, so thanks for mentioning it; it looks quite interesting.
