Predictable and cliche-ridden at every turn...

that would explain the low ratings.

If you're looking for an introspective view on life.. forget it.

It's probably one of the most shallow movies you'll ever see.

Think of the movie "Ghost".

Explain more...How was it predictable and cliche-ridden at every turn? And how was it shallow? Not having a go, just genuinely interested

The scene where they show his wife die was super predictable.

reply

I almost laughed out loud at that moment.
Super cringe-worthy.

reply

Yep, compare that to No Country For Old Men where a similar scene was done in a surprising way. Here, anyone with any sense would have seen that coming miles away.
And then the ending was even worse. I was surprised this got such bad reviews given who was in it, but after watching it, I understood.

reply

I agree, that ONE scene was predictable.

However, you need to be considerate to those who have not seen it yet with a SPOILER ALERT! Another idiot.

A eye-rolling yawn-fest. I like Matthew McConaghey but I'd have rather watched a Lincoln commercial.

reply

Would that be Abraham???

Ha ha, sorry I couldn't resist!
