And I'm thinking he sounds like an actor who was on a few Law and Order episodes, always as a different character. If you know L&O you might remember the one where the dead woman's husband was black but able to pass for white.

I just checked another posting. Joe Alaskey is the narrator. Not the fellow I was thinking of at all.
