Did anybody else think Claire had PTSD? I also didn't think she pulled her seat back because of pain. I thought she was terrified of being in a car and couldn't sit up without having a panic attack. A lot of people who experience trauma get phobic and avoid what frightens them.

I agree... it was beyond the physical pain, it was a mix of pain, PSTD, and the pain meds..

shareI believe it was a little of both. And perhaps the trauma caused some of the physical pain too. But she is in pain no matter what so the vehicle would play a role. I have to lean my seat very far back (not that far or I would geg carsick!) but I lean back wyite a bit to be avle to ride comfortably in any vehicle.
shareI never even thought of that and it is a good point - she even said to her new friend 'thanks for not asking why I have to sit like this', which initially I thought was just gratitude for saving face but could have been avoidance.
