Macy hit the boy. Did he also hit Aniston?

I assumed that it was a car accident, hence the reason she also is badly hurt.

It sounds like he hit them in his car, so either they were out walking and he drove into them, or he lost control of his car and hit the car they were in.

I think she was in a car when she was hit, because she cannot stand looking out the window when in a car.

That, and the scars everywhere indicate she may have gone through the windshield and been cut pretty badly.
