I totally knew this is what they'll do [SPOILER I GUESS]

Obviously, I saw Broadchurch, and I knew they said this would have different killer, but after Elly "attacked" cigarette smoking dog lady saying "how could you not know?" it became clear it will again be her husband. This line simply makes no sense otherwise. But then I wondered, "why did they say it was different killer when it's same one" so I figured they'll make Tom the killer and father will take the blame, and it's gonna be "what? it's different, shut up"

So disappointing. At least in broadchurch cigarette smoking dog lady's son and the killer actually did look alike
