Name Changes

I mean Broadchurch!

I didn't remember most of the names from Broadchurch other than Alec Hardy and Danny, so I didn't notice this weird name consistency while I was watching Gracepoint. It's interesting that they have one lead character played by the original actor but with a new name and the other lead character played by a new actress but with the original name.

I don't get it either. Some of the names are completely the same and others are different. With the Solanos it makes sense since they cast a Hispanic actor as Mark and thus changed the family surname. And with Nigel it makes sense since that's a much more British than American name. But with the others there seems to nbe little rhyme or reason.

Unless Alpert's covered in bacon grease, I don't think Hugo can track anything.
