Tom
Tom seemed all to ready to not trust his dad and not take his side - he was defending Danny from him - so I'm wondering whether he lied to Ellie, and his dad did abuse him.

Well, that makes three of us. Because . . . ?!
Thinking outside the box, there is something odd about that scene with Tom, Joe, and Danny. You'd think Tom's reaction would be: "WTF! Is going on?" but, no. It is "Dad? No leave him alone! He's my friend!"
Why?!
Maybe because Tom knows what his father is doing with his BF or going to do with his BF. That his father is either already molesting or going to molest his BF.
Why?!
Because Tom is or was himself being molested by his father. The father sexually molesting the son. Which is not unknown in the real world.

I don't remember that scene? Very interesting though since later in the show Tom started distancing himself from his Dad.
