I loved both seasons of this show. But this valley is anything but happy. Am I just being irony-challenged? Or is there a double meaning?

Ironically-named, of course.

Apparently, the Calder Valley is called Happy Valley by the local police because of it's bad drug problem.

If there aren't any skeletons in a man's closet, there's probably a Bertha in his attic.
