Will there be a Season 4?

Just finished Season 3 on Netflix and I'm so curious as to whether Season 4 is in the works or it will happen at all?

I also am curious why the story showed Frances (aka Ms. Wheal) mixing up a bomb cocktail or something of that nature and then nothing happened? Tommy Lee Royce had just goaded her into doing "something" to get rid of Catherine. I got the impression when she asked if Ryan ever had any sleepovers that she was planning on doing something really wicked. But she wouldn't want any harm to come to Ryan. However, that plot point was dropped like a hot potato.

Any ideas?

Unless I'm mistaken you probably just finished Season 2 on Netflix. As far as I know there are no plans for S3. Frances was not of the persona to toss a molotov cocktail. She was quite mousey and certainly not a tosser.

Not possible. There are only two seasons out until now.

Season three has not even been filmed yet.

Maybe the OP is confusing Happy Valley with the TV series Happy Days which had 11 seasons. With so many series out there it's easy to understand a mix-up.

Happy Valley fans, there's good news and there's bad news: Sally Wainwright's award-winning drama will probably return for a third series... but not until 2018.
