It's just alright... or as the kids say 'mid'.

This is one of the most generic horror movies I've seen in a hot minute. The title in generic, the plot is generic, there is basically nothing about this movie that stands out at all.

Production values and acting are decent. This isn't an awful movie but it's just so very plain. The fact it's PG13 and thus quite tame doesn't help at all.

This wasn't scary, interesting, funny or sexy. Just sort of there. The fact it's a new entity doesn't help, at least with something like Insidious: The Red Door you get to spend time with the Lamberts once more, whom you've seen in several prior entries and the story in that one was more interesting, plus it was visually better too with superior cinematography.

Disappointing considering this has been sitting on my watchlist for months now.
