I think NOTW would stand on its own. I thought it was pretty good. I was not so enamored of Greyhounds or Captain Phillips.

In general, I suspect so. However, I'd like to think this day in age, people who are really discerning of the movies they watch would take the time to read reviews first. 10 minutes of that could save them 2 hours.

Me, I was going to watch it anyways since I'm intrigued by post-apocalyptic and sentient robots.
