To me the lead actress wasn't aware of subtlety. The trembling hands, the quivering lips just seemed too over the top and obvious for someone who was supposed to be playing "crazy".
What did you guys think of her performance?
How do you play crazy? By being calm and collected?
I think she overdid it at times, but was supposed to be very neurotic with but load of problems, long locked inside her apartment, among other things. I'd expect all this to have some effect on her. Macarena Gomez is a solid actress.
