Just watched the trailer!

I gotta say, the trailers gave me much chills, feels and tears! I watched it like 4-5 times now...I think it's going to be a really awesome and touching movie, hopefully. Personally, I have never read the novel, but I understood the plot.

Connor: "Break the windows!"
The Monster: "Break them yourselves"

I dunno why but this line stroked me the most.
I guess part of it was the music too, really adds to the feel of the trailer.

Oh and I thought when the eyes of the trees turned red, he looked just like Ultron's (from AoU). Yeah, just random thoughts.

Also, like many others here, I think Liam Neeson's voice is absolutely great and suitable as The Monster! Deep and friendly, but haunting.

The acting cast looks pretty solid from the trailers as well!

Really excited to see the performance of the main character, Connor (Lewis MacDougall). Hope this will be a good movie to add into his acting resume to strengthen his career as a young actor.

Other than that, I can't wait to watch this movie! Really hope it will be as good as in the trailer.

Actually didn't even know about this movie at all, until I saw the new trailer on IMDB.

I hope it ends up being as amazing as the trailers are looking. I read a early draft of the script and it's amazing. I can tell from the trailers that they've already changed/ added things to the movie, which is to expected, but there are some scenes in the script that I hope they don't touch. I was definitely bawling my eyes out at a couple parts. It's pretty emotionally intense for a "kids" movie which I think is amazing. They don't shy away from the theme of death at all and despite the fantasy aspect of it, I think it portrays the emotions someone goes through when dealing with the illness and eventual death of a close loved one so realistically. It'll probably be hard to watch for anyone who has recently gone through the same situation. I hope it still keeps that tone in the movie. My only worry is that it'll flop because it might not be a lot of people's kind of movie. Unless you're already a fan of the book, or someone who doesn't mind a good tear-jerker, it might not appeal to a lot of people. I'm hoping the fantasy aspect will draw people. It's got a fantastic cast, so maybe that will help.
