shareYou also gotta remember, no one really knew about that comic, even when the trailer came out for it. I highly doubt the creator (a dying mother who was writing it to help her son with her death) saw groot and was like "I'm gonna have a groot-like character in my story as the person that will teach my son how to deal with my death"
