it is a beautiful film but I don't know what to call it? fantasy?

I went to see this because when I got to the cinema it was the next film to start.
(I have a season ticket so can see all sorts of films without wasting money).

I won't describe the plot but I will say it is a moving beautiful film.
But what genre? fantasy? moral family tale?

I'd call it drama
To me fantasy is only when the movie sells you some fantasy world as reality. (to me) that's not what this movie does.

Magic realism.
Its a melodrama with a single piece of fantasy in it.
