This is a "Blood Beach (1980)" rip off

Thank you. Iv been trying to remember the name for years.

Maybe you are over fondly remembering how badly shot and edited (and acted) "Blood Beach" really was. There was never any real tension in the movie, it was just "Jaws" under the sand. This was much more of a "The Raft" from "Creepshow" than anything else. Low budget, small crew, build suspense and throw in a little gore... cook for an hour and a half and huzzah!!! a B-list movie that is an enjoyable waste of time! The eye candy was good (for the boys at least) and the survivors were kind of a surprise.

I would place this above a SYFY production but below a theatre run film.
