More like why didn't the girls stand on the side of the bumper to get the trunk open,or why didn't they try to get to the trunk through the back seat, its vary rare for a new car to not have access to the trunk from the back seat brute force could at least cut an hole to get through, or another reason on why this move was so stupid was, that the beach patrol cop sees someone laying on a bench, with cut wounds all over the person stomach and didn't even bother to call an EMT ASAP, i say he was the only person who deserve the worse death, and how can an organic life forum chew through a steel barrel, rubber makes sense but not steel, or maybe you shouldn't have a beach party 1 mile away from a chemical waste plant.

Did it eat through the barrel? I figured it had a rusted bottom and all it needed was a hole (that's what he said) and sent it's ever growing tentacles up.
