The battery is dead!!

If the battery was dead, the starter wouldn't continue to turn over and over without starting the engine.

That's my issue with this movie.

Also, why did the need keys to open the trunk? Couldn't they pop the trunk from inside the car?

Watching it now. That was a pretty lively starter motor to be running of a dead battery. 

You can't palm off a second-rater on me. You gotta remember I was in the pink!
