I rank the effects somewhere between "Thanks Killing" and your average made for TV flick.
Too bad, because after seeing the trailer, I though it had promise.
I give it a 4!
The effects were godawful I'll agree
shareThe effects were the best of any horror movies within this century. If you confuse nonsense CG effects with real life effects then simply get a life again.
shareThe creature effects were fantastic in this film. Really made my skin crawl! Makes me sad thinking how much better The Thing prequel could have been.
shareThe effects were pretty good right up until the end when it started mimicing humanoid form like the movie leviathen did. The few tendrils worked earlier in the film but at the end it was too tangled of a mess to believe the tendrals were even useful.
