I feel this is a strong contender for `Production Design` but not sure about `Actor in a Leading Role` (if that`s the correct phrase)

Might not happen - as Oscar nominations is end of Jan a month before this is released in the states (which I find pretty strange)

Are you sure we're discussing the same film? I watched 'A United Kingdom' a month or so ago and I imagine it was released in The States a little previously. Would that not qualify for consideration?
