Anyone know if he has any scenes that actually show his ability?

Yes. There is 2-3 scenes with him doing his thing.

He is called a Ukranian Ben Affleck lookalike in the movie. ;)

Why in a world Scott Adkins is often a Slavic guy in movies? He has from little to nothing in common.

Could be his looks. Maybe he originally is from a slavic family, but can still be born in UK.

He does. A very few. If Scott is the only reason to watch this particular movie - skip it.
