Is she returning in Transformers 5? She isn't billed in the cast so I was wondering if she is returning or not? I hope so. I think she did good in Part 4!

I still haven't heard anything. Forgot all about her in fact.

I wouldn't mind if she never came back. It would have been nice had 4 focused on a father/daughter relationship, but instead they shoved the boyfriend in for another boring love story. And with Isabela Moner in the cast, I suspect they'll explore that father/daughter relationship with Cade Yeager acting as a sort of surrogate father. If that's the case, Nicola isn't needed anymore. A cameo at the most.

Perhaps if Tessa and Cade weren't unlikable and annoying in Age of Extinction, then I would've cared about the father/daughter relationship.

I didn't mind Cade. Of course compared to the circus freaks in the previous sequels Cade was a welcomed change.

I think Laura Haddock is replacing her. That's just a guess. Sometimes they get different actor or actress to play the same character.

Tessa will just be away. They said she will be mentioned in the movie.

Laura Haddock's character is Vivian Wembley. Apparently, her family is tied with the film's MacGuffin (and judging from her last name, I'm guessing that British guy Gill from Age of Extinction is related to her).

According to this link, Tessa is apparently in hiding (I'm guessing Shane is in hiding as well) and it will be explained in the film: http://news.tfw2005.com/2016/12/06/transformers-last-knight-plot-roundup-329777
