Maybe this is a good sign? They got the writers from Iron man and Black Hawk Down. I hope this is a good change

Then how do you explain Bay's "Ninja Turtles" movies, which ended up being critically panned, disgustingly worthless movies, despite having the writer(s) of the critically acclaimed, amazing movie called "Mission impossible: Ghost Protocol"?
Newsflash: Ehren Kruger wrote the screenplay for "The Ring", which was directed by Gore Verbinski, and that movie was critically acclaimed, and for good reason. Because unlike Bay, Verbinski is a competent director when he's not controlled by arrogant studio-executives like Jerry Bruckheimer (whom, from what I've read, Bruckheimer is the one who taught Bay to disregard factual criticism of what an incompetent hack he is)
You just fail to realize how much influence Michael Doofus Bay has over the screenplay of any project he takes up. No filmmaker with a net worth of over $400-million is going to give up creative control over a project. The problem is that Bay is such a moron he doesn't realize he should leave the storytelling to the true artists, which he is NOT.
But this time Bay had nothing to do with developing the story. The story was planned by a writers room lead by Akiva Goldsman last year. Bay didn't get involved in this movie until he was confirmed to direct and the story was already developed and written at that point.
