Why I think 'Evil' Optimus is a clone of the real Optimus...

Here is why I think the Creators created a clone of Optimus Prime.
You can see in the trailer that "evil" Optimus doesn't have his sword of judgement or his shield, why would he leave it behind? If Optimus was brainwashed, wouldn't he bring his sword with him? This probably is because the real Optimus Prime (still in space or arriving at the time to earth) has his sword and shield. You can see Optimus floating out in space with his shield and sword. So if there was a clone made by the Creators, they wouldn't even bother giving Nemesis, Optimus' sword and shield to him. They would just send him to Earth, Nemesis doesn't need Optimus' sword or shield. Plus Nemesis draws a blade that is matte black and solid, Optimus never ever used this. Everyone knows Optimus uses his famous Energon Blades. So it has to be a clone.
Plus, Nemesis has the red mark on his face, Optimus doesn't have this when he's floating in space or when he wakes up through the smoke. I don't think if Optimus was evil, he would go out of his way to paint some red on his face, "can't go to Earth and kill the Autobots without my red paint!" It is a useless mark, why else would the editors add that into "evil" prime? So you can tell them apart more when Optimus fights Nemesis in the end.
Not to mention, Megatron has this red mark. Maybe this red mark is like the Creators' signature showing they created them. What if it was a twist in the movie that Megatron all along was an evil version of the good Megatron made by the creators. And the real good Megatron that Optimus befriended on Cybertron was actually imprisoned to the Creators' jail while the clone of Megatron wreaked havoc in the first movie through the fifth? When Optimus is imprisoned as well, he finds the good Megatron there and learns the truth about the Creators' grand deception. Optimus and Megatron have to break out and save earth. This would be the ultimate twist in cinemas history since Megatron is a well known evil character. This would tie the Creators back to the previous 4 movies and would make even the second movie important. Then once the good Optimus and the good Megatron defeat the Nemesis Prime and the Nemesis Megatron, they'll have to all team up, Autobots and Decepticons will have to joins forces to stop the Creators who manipulated the whole war between Autobots and Decepticons. They'll have to face Unicron as the result.
I honestly don't know if this would be the case, but it would sure make a better story than the forth movie and maybe even the fifth.

Or B, considering how he said sorry(or words to that effect) when attacking friends, Unicron powered mind control.

I agree that your thoughts would be pretty cool, it doesn't explain why Prime says "forgive me" when he's about to (presumably) kill Bumble Bee. Nemesis Prime, being created as a clone with the sole purpose of killing other Transformers, wouldn't apologize for that. Optimus is clearly under someone/something else's control, and is fighting an internal battle.
The more likely explanation is that the Creators sent Unicron to destroy Earth since the Autobots and Decepticons have made such a mess of the cosmos, as Lockdown stated in AOE. Perhaps Lockdown was the Creators' more tactful method of cleaning up that mess, but when he fails, the Creators simply wipe the slate clean with a more brutal and definitive method. In that case, Prime may have been reprogrammed to kill Transformers as an effort to minimize resistance when Unicron gets there.
