Transformers is guaranteed to make 1 bill not sure about justice league
shareIf wonder woman doesnt do well then dc basically has no hope and justice league wont make crap at the box office. It's pretty ironic but the recent dc films have had less consistent plots than the tf films. And ya this movie will absolutely make a billion

Suicide Squad did better than anyone had any real reason to expect it would.
Wonder Woman and Justice League will obviously do fine and if the first female lead for a major, recent superhero film doesn't do as well as hoped that still won't really have any serious bearing on the financial prospects of The Avengers of the DCEU.
Don't be deluded by the echo-chamber of internet critics and trolls, all of these movies are still MASSIVE crowd-pleasers and doing EXCELLENT business.
The DCEU has yet to produce a crowd-pleasing film on the level of the first live-action Transformers movie.
shareI'd counter that the DCEU so far has raked in roughly as much cash as it has criticism, just like the Transformers film franchise.
And, as with Transformers, the criticism hasn't really made too serious a dent its success, has it?
People know what they're getting and/or they're curious to see what's next, so the films keep making more and more money despite the incessant trolling of the internet. People generally enjoy the movies so they keep making more money.
It's pretty straightforward.
The general audience enjoy TF movies, because they deliver what audience wants: actions, girls, humor and even some sort of heart.

both will make over billion for sure...I think Transformers 5 total boxoffice will be 13-1.4billion and Justice Leage will be around 1.1billion.
shareHaving doubts Justice League could make even that much. If Batman and Superman together for the first time on screen couldn't cross a billion and neither could DCEU's biggest "crowd pleaser" to date Suicide Squad I'm not sure JL can unless word of the mouth is good.

I'd say JL will top out around $900 mil tops. Transformers will get another billion at least. So Transformers.
shareTransformers has no weight in the domestic market. Unlike the past there is solid competitors in June. Transformers only has one free week to make its money. Despicable Me will dethrone it the next week. Extinction also catered to the Chinese market, basically giving up on pleasing the domestic fans. Extinction made $245mil resulting in overall negative response from the domestic audiences.That is $100mil down from Dark and $150mil down from Revenge.$200mil domestic unless it gets good reviews.
China is how Last Knight will make money. 80% of the last movie gross was made in foreign markets. The only problem is Despicable Me. The minions have a huge following in the foreign markets.
Best case Scenario: The Last Knight $200mil Domestic $600mil Foreign. No chance to hit a billion with competition. If the movie is reviewed on the same level as Extinction, then we are looking at about $750mil tops.
Justice Leagueis totally dependent on Wonder Woman's performance. I predict Wonder Woman to make $750mil good or bad. If Wonder Woman is good, JL will make a billion and some change. If Wonder Woman is bad Justice League will make about $800mil.
