This is showing my age a tad but....

In my childhood when watching the Transformer cartoons I also very much liked HE MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. The spin off She Ra was not as good overall, spinoffs rarely are but god those female characters were sexy.

How about making He Man or Thundercats a movie? Maybe give some other early 1980s cartoon a modern take?

He Man and Thundercats would both need Avatar level effects to really be done well.

They've been trying to get another live action Masters of the Universe movie up and running for AGES now. The Battle Cat concept art looks great, at least. Pretty interesting script from the sounds of it, too.

Maybe someday!

As a child I actually liked the GOBOTS more than the Transformers but the show fell to the wayside fast so most people prefered Transformers. Here is why I prefer Gobots.

1. In the Transformers I always thought the Decepticons were way cooler than the Autobots. To me EFFING JET PLANES were way cooler than CARS AND TRUCKS. I like that in the Gobots the type of vehicle they transformed into was not limited by which "army" they were a part of. In fact Leader One (the "optimus prime" of the GoBots was a jet plane while CyKill, the "Megatron" of that show was a motorbike. I preferred the mixture of vehicles.

2. At the time it creeped me out and I am surprised a child show would show something so creepy but the xray image of their heads showing organic basically human brains creeped me out because I thought they were ROBOTS, and had no idea their brains were biological. The Transformers were fully robotic but the GoBots were technically cyborgs I guess? I find it hard to believe that something purely robotic would have human level consciousness, a 'soul" if you will so to me this was more realistic.

3. The STORIES were better in GoBots. I feel GoBots had real adventure stories that often included elements of spirituality and real science fiction while Transformers was more about the spectacle, more about the action. Star Trek was not as cool as Star Wars but had arguably better stories. To me GoBots compared to Transformers like Trek to Wars. I really even as a child more appreciated the stories of Gobots than Transformers.

4. I loved "Scooter" the "Bumblebee" of the GoBots he was CUTE, just adorable. None of the Transformers were "cute". Also the GoBots were more anthropomorphised. Their faces looked more human, they had the organic brains I mentioned above, their personalities were more human like. They were more "relatable" to me.
