Recently, like since the beginning of this year, the official Saw Facebook page has been posting numerous Saw pictures with captions. I think this is the beginning of the hype. Has anyone else noticed this? Opinions?
shareits not ,as much as i would like it to be , but its just the same random stuff they've been posting for a while now just to make sure people don't forget about SAW
Long time House of Jigsaw member here throughout all the franchise , so i know about anxiously waiting for that 1st candid (unofficial) picture from the set, or refreshing the browser anticipating the 1st official still to come in, or hoping they would release the 1st teaser
Lionsgate tends to have a pattern in releasing promotional info for their upcoming SAW movies
March to May - might get 1 or 2 unofficial set pictures
Late May/June - 1st official Still from the actual movie
Late June/July (Around Comic Con) - they'll probably have a private screening of a trap scene and release a spoiler free teaser
Late August/September - more official Stills from the movie and 1 or 2 trailers showing more actual footage from the movie
October - SAW promotion at its pinnacle , SAW TV spots all over the place
They've been doing that for over a year now. Don't expect any actual Legacy promoting until around July. Maybe a couple of stills from the movie before then, but that's it.
