In the past, I was tempted to compare the awful From Dusk Till Dawn series to the excellent Fargo series - but even though they're both TV series adapted from films, I'll admit that both series & their source material are vastly different in tone, style, etc, and the comparison wouldn't have been even remotely fair.... that, and I knew that there was a certain other TV show based on a horror-comedy film/film series due out soon, which would make a much more suitable comparison.

And ho-boy, did my patience pay off! I'm gonna call it now: the single pilot episode of Ash vs The Evil Dead that has been released so far is already better than the combined two seasons of From Dusk Till Dawn.

No need for any debate. Cool story bro sums it up pretty succinctly.

You're right, that does sum it effectively - "it" being the fact that he's not only lame enough to respond it with overused meme from 5 years ago (that he's not even using correctly), but he's also using it because he obviously isn't capable of coming with any response of his own.

Though on the "plus" side, he won't be lonely - since you're apparently just as witless.

i love the movie, i enjoy the series

but even i cant deny that evil dead is a better series than this one

The only people comparing the two are you and the OP. No one else on the board is actually making any arguments about which is better, or even mentioning Evil Dead at all...

Finished Season 2. It has it lows, but I really enjoyed both seasons. I didn't look up if there would be a season 3 or not till I finished 2. And I was glad to see it picked up.

I for one am looking forward to it.
