... Get back to work after beating up the cop who arrested him and then sneaking to Mexico? I just started season 2 and I did not notice anything where they explained that - but he can't still be a ranger after that. I would have thought he would have been at least suspended for more than a couple months.

If you're looking for consistent storytelling or plots/ character actions that make sense, this might not be the show for you... I was pretty disappointed by the slapdash way this story seemed to be told.

Cops could bang a hooker in their patrol cars on camera and only get temporary desk duty.
