Almost done with season two and Kate just died in the finale. Is it me or was anyone else happy to see her die?She was just as selfish and scheming as everyone else and except she was sanctimonious.

Everyone else pretty much knows they are selfish, but she used every single person on the show from her father to her death except her brother just so that she could get what she wants, her death. Even her final act, Richard helping her and telling her he has a plan she goes and screws up. When she gets used as a hostage and shot she still blames Richard.

That's like the only character I dislike on this show. Everyone else is a jack wagon and admits it to themselves. Yes they want multiple things and make plans with others only to stab in the back, but they don't keep repeating that everyone else is so bad and she is so good.

Maybe you should not be so happy, watch the 3th season and you will see why.

Yeah just got to the end of the episode and saw her back to life with the blood.

Madison's acting has been pretty good-she goes from 'sweet' to 'screechingly enraged (I! WANT! TO! PRAY!!)' at the drop of hat as she switches from Kate to "Illyria" (See 'Angel' to get my meaning) & back. And yeah, I sort of like her spitting venom at Ritchie as she dies. Clearly Kate has strong survival instincts & is very self aware: Trying to 'convert' Ritchie, to playing up to his 'whacked out' knife games at the Twister & then trying to seduce him to get the camper keys to losing her 'life' to 'rescue/save' Scott. Sure she's underage (well under 21) but I wonder if she did anything with Ritchie or Seth during her Mexican vacation.

Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?
